The rose arrived very quickly, just 2 days after ordering! The packaging and gift card, care info etc was superb and all recyclable - no sticky tape or staples to deal with, just impressive cardboard designed structures with clear instructions of how to remove the potted rose without damage. The rose plant itself looks very healthy, with lots of leaves and even one flower bud! This was my mother’s favourite rose and the one she planted years ago has deteriorated recently due to our neighbour having grown a huge bush of ceanothus on the other side of the fence where Dublin Bay has been trained for many years; although still alive, it had very few flowers last year and looks rather sad. So this new one will be in a different border, in an open position, growing up and through a big new cast iron obelisk! So, fingers-crossed it will flourish and after such a good experience with the ordering and delivery, I’m feeling very positive! I will now always order from English Roses as I am so impressed with the way the business is run with such attention to detail, sustainability and the gift options may well be ideal for family and friends in the future.
